We thank Zhang and colleagues for their Letter to the Editor(1) regarding our work.(2) Our manuscript (“Liver Metastases of Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma: Implications for an Updated Staging System”(2)) suggested changes to the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging classifi-cation for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) by classifying “liver metastases” as stage IV rather than stage II/III in the absence/presence of lymph node metastases, respectively, as per AJCC v.
